The President of the Alumni Association of GEC NIT Raipur, Mr. Umesh Chitlangia, visited Dubai on 25th October 2025 and interacted with members of the Middle East Chapter. The meeting was highly encouraging and reflected the strong commitment and enthusiasm of the alumni residing in the region.

During the interaction, members shared valuable suggestions and expressed their willingness to actively contribute toward strengthening alumni initiatives.

The President appreciated the expertise of Middle East alumni across various professional fields and emphasized that their knowledge and experience could play a significant role in realizing the association’s future vision for collaboration among alumni and current students across the globe. He also invited members to visit the Institute, stay at Golden Tower and share their experiences with students, faculty, and fellow alumni.

This visit has significantly reinforced the collaboration & coordination between the Central Executive Committee and the Middle East Chapter, opening new avenues for enhanced alumni participation in future activities and support initiatives for the institute and the student community.
