The Alumni Fellowship

Deriving strength from an indelible imprints of our lives in the campus of GECNIT Raipur; our Alumni is forged out in the year 2006 on the eve of Institutes’s Golden Jubilee of completion of 50 years of foundation laying at Raipur. With a modest beginning Alumnae is currently having a 15000+ conglomerate of professionals situated world wide. The Alumnae fabric bonds are strengthening through continual weaving by its threads with overlapping of different colours on personal and professional counts. The Alumni members passed out from 1960 - 1980; majority superannuated from full time employment / professional activities are offering their blessings, preachings, mentoring, capacity building, investments, donations. The Alumnae of 1981 - 2000 pass are offering start up supports, internship opportunities, research avenues, funding support, capacity building and more. The twenty first century Alumni members i.e. 2001 onwards are providing the teaching inputs, startup guidance, events management and some of Alumni (pass outs of preceding decade) are the the beneficiaries of guidance besides upcoming students.

Beginning with helping hand; Alumnae tree is growing on its routes in Raipur with the branches worldwide in today’s borderless knowledge world. The bonding is regularly getting nurtured through annual meets at Raipur and in various Chapters; encouraging families to join the fun and fellowships. There are regular interactions on the WhatsApps groups, Alumni Connect App on mobile and other interactive sessions. The achievers are being honoured needy are looked after collectively. The conglomerate of Alumnae is comprising engineers, architects, bio-technologist, scientists performing worldwide since 1960 i.e. 60 years timeline that is a great reservoir of professional talents. Today we have 17 branches, some of them were non-existent in the first two / three decades of Institute’s operations. Our Alumni with 14 years of its voyage now has a network of 130 Chapters spread in 18 cities of India and 18 Countries. Their collective intelligence would surely unfold wisdom truly reflecting the Alumnae strengths in its domain of activities.

The “present” is dynamic and in the current pace of technological advancements world over; it is becoming more and more challenging to catch up with the “present”. It is heartening to promote a Golden Tower in 30,000 sq. ft. land comprising exhibition, conference, lecture halls, digital library, guest rooms, recreation, residential suites and other utilities with the projected cost estimate of US $ 0.25 million. The implementation of first phase in 11,000 sq. ft. area has taken a good shape by now; guest rooms and a coffee house are in operation. The Golden Tower project is upcoming at an opportune time to create further facilities / resources / knowledge networkings that could become catalyst to bridge the voids between the employment and employability for the upcoming graduates, strengthen the bonds with Alumnae worldwide aimed at attaining our Alumni stature par excellence with international institutions.
